Let’s analyse the three different parts of a sport session
Once aims and objectives have been created, coaches can then create a ‘Session Planner’ for the sports session.
Before creating any session, remember the three actions:
Warm up
Main exercise
Cool down
Warm up
Starting to exercise specifically to warm the body and get it ready for activity.
Main exercise
This is driven by the aims and objectives.
Cool Down
The cool down session is used to reduce the build-up of lactic acid and reduce the risk of ‘Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness’ (DOMS).
